History and Presentation :

In the 1920s, Claude Rossignol, the grandfather of Alain Billard, possessed a domain to Volnay and plots of land in Monthelie, Volnay and Volnay 1er Cru.

Mr. and Mrs Roger Billard, his parents, take over the exploitation in 1961 with 4 hectares of vineyards.

Alain Billard steers the domain, in his turn, in 1982. It is in 1990 he obtains the totality in tenant farming and in sharecropping.

Today, the Domain is constituted by 7 hectares distributed on the municipalities of Monthelie, Beaune, Pommard Volnay and Meursault.
